Pain comes in all shapes and sizes, from those little aches sleeping on the wrong mattress, to the more chronic variety. Not surprising, in this new age of advancing technologies, is the rise of chronic pain from the sheer act of texting.

According to a November 12, 2009 article from the ever popular web site, WebMD, the sheer abundance of those using texting as a means of keeping in touch is sparking an increase in the risk of neck and shoulder pain. Those most affected, currently, are those 18 to 21 years old. However, texting is catching on even with the older population.

Your Magic Wand to Better Health and Greater Wealth

Conventional medicine is, unfortunately, nothing compared to conventional wisdom. Common sense dictates that the introduction of new medicinal remedies for diseases and ailments, no matter how large or small, are strongly attached to the purse strings of pharmaceutical companies. Business and financial gain reins as drug companies work day and night to push their next product on an unwitting public.

Although regulations are in place, such as “approved by the FDA”, once again common sense should kick in when the list of possible side effects include such potential hazards as dizziness, lightheaded, swelling, flushing, headaches, vomiting, diarrhea, and even death. More often than not the cure can be worse than the “dis-ease” itself.

So why do so many turn immediately to “conventional” voodoo, when for thousands of years, humans treated themselves with traditional cures provided by nature herself?
